This is a style board me and my group put together for our ideas for our show package design. We pulled some images off of the internet that had the same feel and look that we wanted along with creating some of our own designs for lower thirds and an animated background. Along with the imagery we put our concept statement on the style board as well which reads:
Ideas have to start from somewhere. Through the elemental building blocks of a designer/artist we will show you the thought process our students go through to bring their ideas and thoughts into reality in a fun and abstract manner.
This really was a great group effort. We each chose things that really sparked our interest and still went along with what we chose as our concept statement. After our critique on our style board we were told we still needed to solidify a look and feel that we wanted to convey. Our instructors really loved the lower third designs and the overall style, color, and graphic feel that they could see we were trying to go for. I feel pretty confident in our decisions. The images were great inspiration and I give complete and total thanks and credit to the artists and designers who created the 5 images at the top of our style board and on the bottom left hand corner. Lower third and looping background design credits go to my group and I.
